The outsole tread pattern and compound has been designed to offer a firm grip across a variety of conditions, ranging from soft snow and mud to hard icing ground and farm yards. The spacing of the tread is intended to reduce clogging whilst the steel shank provides increased support which is essential in reducing tiredness and possible injury through prolonged over flexing of the foot.
